Winter Weather: Closings and Delays (UPDATED)

Due to the warning of heavy snow (coming today and Wednesday) the following delays, snow emergencies and cancelations are in place. Check beck periodically for updates.

Anamosa: Snow emergency - 12/29 4pm until 12/30 2pm
Cascade: Snow emergency Tuesday 6pm - Wednesday 6pm. Street parking is not permitted during this time.
Cedar Valley Eye Care (Cedar Falls): Closing at noon on Tuesday.
Cedar Valley Eye Care (Waterloo):Closing at 3 pm on Tuesday.
Cedar Valley Preschool: Closes at noon (12/29)
Center Point: Snow emergency with even/odd parking
Coggon: Snow emergency Noon Tuesday - 4 pm Wednesday
Dike :Snow emergency in effect from12/29 - 6 pm Thursday, 12/31
Dyersville: Snow emergency Tuesday beginning 6 pm until Wednesday at 6 pm. No parking on streets or alleys.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck: CSD will be having no school or youth PM activities Tuesday, 12-29. No school or  youth morning activities on Wednesday 12-30 due to the inclement weather.
Independence: Snow emergency Tuesday beginning at 6 pm - Thursday at noon. No street parking.
Jesup: Snow emergency in effect Tuesday at noon until Wednesday 5 pm. No street parking.
La Porte City: Snow emergency Tuesday 10 am through Wednesday.
Mount Vernon: Snow emergency Tuesday at noon until Thursday at 6 am.
New Hartford: Snow emergency in effect until Thursday Evening.
Oelwein: The City of Oelwein’s snow ordinance begins Tuesday at noon.
Oelwein: MercyOne Oelwein Medical Centers Cardiac Rehabilitation closed Wednesday, 12/30.
Oran Food Pantry: Pantry will be closed Tuesday evening. Will reopen Tuesday from 9 am to noon.
Parkersburg: No parking on city streets beginning at midnight on Tuesday - Wednesday at 6 pm.
Postville: Northeast Iowa Wellness & Recreation Center will open at 7 am on Wednesday 12/30.
Raymond: Snow emergency Tuesday at noon - Wednesday 10 pm.
Strawberry Point: Snow emergency Tuesday at noon until Wednesday at noon.
Waterloo: Snow emergency 11pm Tuesday - 3pm Thursday
