On Tuesday night -- during the snowstorm -- an Iowa State Trooper caught a driver on I-35 driving 114 MPH.

The excuse for driving so fast? The driver was in a hurry to get back to college in Minnesota.

Between 6 AM and 9 PM on Tuesday, 12/29, the Iowa State Patrol was called out to service for 91 crashes and 372 motorist assists.
