The National Weather Service in Des Moines says that heavy, wet snow will continue across northern and eastern Iowa through the day. The snow could be mixed with rain/freezing rain this morning making for a tricky morning commute.

On Tuesday night -- during the snowstorm -- an Iowa State Trooper caught a driver on I-35 driving 114 MPH.
The excuse for driving so fast? The driver was in a hurry to get back to college in Minnesota.
