2019 Class 3A Iowa High School Boys Basketball State Tournament

Here are the 2019 Iowa High School Boys State Basketball Tournament Class 3A pairings and results.

Class 3A quarterfinal games will be played on Tuesday, March 5. The winners advance to the state semifinals on Thursday, March 7. The 3A consolation final (10:20 AM) and championship game (6:35 PM) are both set for Friday, March 8.

West Delaware is the only squad from the Cedar Valley and northeast Iowa that's part of the eight-team state tournament field. Other 2019 qualifiers are Ballard of Huxley, Clear Lake, Marion, Norwalk, Oskaloosa, Sergeant Bluff-Luton and Winterset.

Half of the teams that made it to state in 2018 have qualified for the tournament again in 2019. The returning teams include: Marion, Norwalk, Oskaloosa, Sergeant Bluff-Luton and Winterset. Glenwood is the defending champion.

West Delaware is making its 5th state tournament appearance. The Hawks finished fourth in 2017 and second in 2000. Their other tournament appearances were in 1999 and 2008.
