
‘Wagons East!’ Premiered 25 Years Ago Today
'Wagons East!' hit theatres on August 26th, 1994. John Candy died of a heart attack during the final days of filming. He was only 43. The movie co-starred Richard Lewis. The film was released five months after Candy's death and was a box office bomb.
John Candy's last film, Canadian Bacon, which he had completed before Wagons East!, had a delayed release in 1995.
