50 Years Ago Today: ‘Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’ was Released in Theatres
On October 24th, 1969, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was released in theatres starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford. The film also featured Iowa native Cloris Leachman and 25-year-old Sam Elliot in his first credited movie role. The film won four Academy Awards.
