Nearly 14 months have passed since an arson fire heavily damaged the landmark eatery and bar.

The shop was the pride of its small western Iowa town but is now apparently a total loss.

The two-story house is located near the city's downtown business district.

A semi trailer on I-80 West at mile marker 38 has caught fire.

Officials are reminding residents not to leave recreational fires or barbeque grills unattended, especially in high winds.

The cause remains under investigation.

Witnesses at the scene reported hearing multiple explosions when the building went up in flames late Monday afternoon.
