On the corner of Park and Franklin, adjacent to Lincoln Park, is an old brick building that has housed many, MANY different businesses. Stanley Steemer, Iowa Irish Fest Headquarters, the Baum-McDonald Auto Company, as well as several other auto dealers over the decades.
Riders began the eight and a half mile silent trek at 6:20 PM and concluded at 7:15 PM, and was held by the Cedar Valley Cyclists. The ride in Downtown Cedar Falls began at Overman Park, West 3rd Street, and Clay Street. Riders rode from Overman to Main Street Greenhill Road Cedar Heights Drive, Grand Boulevard, and State Street.
The Waterloo shop will be closed until May 29th due to staffing issues. Many other restaurants in the Cedar Valley are facing similar issues. The Brass Tap was closed for several days for this very same issue.
