July is half over. Temperatures have dipped into the 50s at night. Can anyone say 'football'? It won't be long and we'll be cramming into cars and traveling to Iowa City for another season of Iowa Hawkeye football. Last year had its share of ups and downs. This year's team features new stars via the transfer portal and another stout Iowa defense! And Hawkeye fans better be ready to pounce because single-game tickets go on sale this week!

I'm going to go ahead and mention the elephant in the room. Iowa's Big Ten home schedule for the 2023-2024 season doesn't feature a lot of marquee matchups. According to KCRG, here are the home games that tickets remain for.

  • Utah State - September 2nd
  • Western Michigan - September 16th
  • Michigan State - September 30th
  • Purdue (Homecoming) - October 7th
  • Minnesota - October 22nd
  • Illinois - November 18th

Iowa has some pretty good road games this year including at Iowa State, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. But hey...we support our Hawkeyes no matter the opponent! KCRG reports that single-game tickets for those seven home games went on sale to donors on Monday, and will go on sale to the public on Thursday. You can get more information and order your tickets HERE.

The University of Iowa also announced the date for its annual 'Kids Day at Kinnick'. KCRG reports the free event will be held on Saturday, August 12th. More details will be coming soon. The Boys of Fall are almost back! LET'S GO HAWKS!
