Gas Station Robbery In Washburn

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's office is currently investigating a robbery at a Washburn convenience store.

Late Monday night (12/29), around 10:55 P.M., the Black Hawk County Sheriff's office received a call reporting a robbery at the Pronto Store/BP Gas Station in Washburn. According to the report, a black male entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall and medium build and had his face covered during the robbery.  No weapons were displayed.
