Grundy County authorities have arrested four people on burglary charges.

Sheriff's deputies were called out to investigate a possible burglary in the 13000 mile of "O" Ave. shortly after 3:30 AM Tuesday. After arriving at the location southwest of Stout, authorities located several suspects.

The following people were taken into custody:

  • Shuntel Stephens, 38, of Grundy Center: Charged with third-degree burglary. Bond set at $7,500.
  • Drew Janssen, 39, of Holland: Charged with third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Danielle Bryant, 32, of Waterloo: Charged with third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. Bond Set at $10,000.
  • Benjamin Raney, 40, of Elk Run Heights: Charged with third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. Bond set at $10,000.

Sheriff Rick Penning said the burglary is one of several that's been reported in Grundy County during the past three months. Those incidents remain under investigation.
