A man accused of trespassing told police that he'd rather go to jail than see his parents. (mugshot below)

The 38-year-old was caught wandering around a home at 4:30 in the morning. The homeowner saw him hiding near some bushes.

He was given a trespassing warning a week ago and this time he was taken to jail. While speaking to police after being read his Miranda Rights, he told them that he was 'sleeping in between the tress and a privacy wall so he would be safe.'

He then told the officers that he'd 'rather go to jail than face his parents.'
