Late Night Fire Damages Two-Story Waterloo Home

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a Waterloo house fire that happened late Wednesday night (Sept. 27, 2017).

According to Waterloo Fire Rescue officials, the blaze heavily damaged the front porch of a two-story home at 225 Linwood Ave. Flames also spread to the upper level.

Authorities said no one was home at the time of the fire, which was discovered around 10:45 p.m. No injuries were reported.
