Dad Headbutts Ref at 5th Grade Girls’ Basketball Game (video)

An Ohio dad might be charged with assault after he headbutted a ref during a 5^th grade girls’ basketball game.

After this parent had been in disagreement with some of the calls the ref had made during the first half, the situation escalated during the second half.

The official had asked the fan to leave after he used profanity towards him during a timeout. That’s when the father flipped the ref the ‘finger,’ yelled the ‘F Word’ and jumped down onto the court and headbutted him in the face.

The official suffered minor neck injuries in the incident.

The dad has been banned for life from attending any of his daughter’s games.
