On Thursday, February 6, 2014, the Wartburg Wrestling team beat Augsbrug, 23-9. The Knights are now a perfect 16-0 on the season, and it moves their win streak to 52 straight matches.
Ten area high school seniors plan to play college football beginning this fall. The group includes nine student-athletes from the Cedar Valley.

The Independence Mustangs will wrestle WaMac conference rival West Delaware at the new Jr/Sr High School in Independence, Thursday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. Following this Top Ten high school showdown, No. 1 ranked Wartburg College and No. 5 Coe College will square off in an Iowa Conference dual match at 8 p.m. KCRG-TV 9.2 will carry it live starting at 6:00 p.m.
