Wartburg Beats Lorus in Double Overtime, 90-89

The Wartburg Knights (10-8, 4-3) men's basketball team had to go to double overtime to get the win versus the Loras Duhawks (11-7, 4-3) on Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

Seniors Eddie Diemer (Cedar Falls) and Taylor Jacobsmeier (Wapello) and freshman Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) set new career bests in Wartburg's 90-89 double overtime win over Loras Wednesday.

Diemer finished with 24, Jacobsmeier and Cannon each had 19 and junior Dan Van Groningen (Oak Forest, Ill.) added 10.

Next Up: The Knights play host to Buena Vista University this Saturday.  Tip off is slated for 4:00 p.m.
