There are many questions surrounding this year's Iowa men's basketball team. Will Jordan Bohannon's hip injury keep him out all year? How will the team make up for the loss of Tyler Cook and Isaiah Moss? One this is for sure. Joe Wieskamp may have to carry much of the offense burden for this year's team. On Wednesday, the Big Ten named the sophomore to their preseason All-Big Ten team.

Wieskamp ranked third on the team in scoring last season at just over 11 points per game. He led the team, and was third in the Big Ten in three-point percentage at 42.4%. He also was second on the team in rebounding at 4.9 per game. Wieskamp is one of 10 players named to the preseason list, and one of only three underclassmen.

After being named to the All-Big Ten freshman team, Wieskamp suprised many as he declared himself for the NBA Draft. He went through the evaluation process and never hired an agent, which allowed him to return for his sophomore year.

Wieskamp is the third Hawkeye in five years to be named All-Big Ten in the preseason, joining Jarrod Uthoff and Peter Jok.
