What’s Happening This Weekend In The Cedar Valley

• Staying up late, building a blanket fort, telling stories, and eating snacks is one the most fun experiences as a kid. The Waterloo Public Library is bringing the good time to your local library! Families with kids age ten or younger can wear their PJ's, bring blankets and flashlights, and build the biggest, comfiest, and most awesome blanket fort imaginable at the Waterloo Public Library on Sunday, January 19th.

• Love live country music, half priced drinks, and line dancing? Deringers Public Parlor on Mainstreet Cedar Falls has you covered with Live Music Saturday! Country star and Season 8 American Idol Winner Nick Lynch will be performing on Saturday, January 18th. This will be a show you won’t want to miss Lookingso make sure to come early to party all night with Nick!

• Wedding season may be over but wedding planning season is in full swing! Wedding Extravaganza has been helping brides plan their perfect wedding for almost 34 years and is the Cedar Valley’s largest Bridal Fair. A wide variety of premier vendors will be in attendance including photographers, DJs, caters, florists, and almost anyone you can think of to make the best day of your life go right.
