As any good theatre director/performer knows, the show must go on! Even during a pandemic.... which is why I am very excited for the Waterloo Community Playhouse to be putting on their performance this August.

Waterloo Community Playhouse's performance of "Church Basement Ladies" is back on! Originally scheduled to be performed March 20th through the 29th, the "Church Basement Ladies" show got cancelled due to the pandemic. However, it is back. Waterloo Community Playhouse's performance of "Church Basement Ladies" will be performed August 14th through the 16th and then August 20th through the 23rd. According to their Facebook page, all patrons will be required to wear masks and are asked to only use the west side entrance to enter. In order to practice social distancing, Waterloo Community Playhouse will be seating up to 25% capacity and ushers will have guest lists rather than tickets.

"Church Basement Ladies" is about ladies who work in the church basement cooking meals for functions and giving an inside look into being Lutheran in the Midwest in the 1950's. It s a musical comedy that will keep the audience laughing. Find out more about the show and how to get "tickets" at their website here.
