Waterloo Adjusting Yard Waste Site Hours

With the impending Fall changes and the decreasing need for the yard waste site, the city of Waterloo will be adjusting the hours that the site is open and available to the public.

The City of Waterloo’s yard waste composting site will be trimming its hours of operation for the Fall season. Starting Sunday, October 1, the Fall hours of operation will be 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 7 days a week. Then on Wednesday, November 1st the hours will change to 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The site is located at 2745 Independence Avenue and is open to Waterloo residents only. Questions may be directed to the Sanitation Department at (319) 291-4455.
