This Area High School Is Canceling Varsity Football Season – Non Covid-19 Related
76-20, 66-12, 88-0, 62-6, it's no fun to finish on the wrong end of those scores. The Clarksville Indians are currently 0-4 and have been outscored by 254 points.
There have been a number of area teams that have had games canceled due to coronavirus cases popping up on their team, or the Des Moines and Iowa City schools are not playing because their classes are all on-line. However, the Indians are ending their varsity season three games early due to low numbers, as many of the starters are freshman and sophomores. The Indians play in a tough 8-player district with many quality opponents.
The team will play a J-V schedule for the remainder of the year.
