Possible Severe Weather Tuesday Afternoon/Evening

The National Weather Service in Des Moines says that storms this afternoon/evening have the possibility to produce tornadoes, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall. The chance of showers and storms will continue through early Wednesday morning.

At 1:20 p.m., The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch that is in effect for counties within the Cedar Valley, and points northeast until 8 p.m.
