After the rain passed through on Tuesday night, it was a beautiful evening to celebrate "America's past-time" at the ballpark...

The Waterloo Bucks hosted the 25th annual Northwoods League All-Star game on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Riverfront Stadium. Over 1,800 baseball fans had a chance to see some possible future Major League baseball stars. Players,coaches,parents,housing-parents and friends gathered from all parts of the United States to enjoy a fun night at the ballpark.

The Great Lakes’ division defeated the Great Plains division 5-2. The Madison Mallards dominated the game. Madison’s Justice Bigbie homered twice — a two-run shot in the first inning and a solo blast in the third — and drove in three runs to earn "Star of Stars" MVP honors.

Four Waterloo Bucks made the Great Plains' team: First baseman Patrick Ferguson, two-way player Dylan Phillips, catcher Alonza Rubalcaba and pitcher Jimmy Smiley.

The Bucks begin a four-game homestand Saturday night at 6:35pm vs. the Lacrosse Loggers at Riverfront Stadium.
