
Man Arrested For Shooting Gun Inside Rural Maynard Home
A Maynard man faces charges for allegedly firing a gun inside a home, with people present.
Fayette County sheriff's officials received a 911 call just before midnight Friday from someone reporting that an intoxicated man was handling a gun at a residence on 80th Street, south of Maynard.
When deputies arrived, they determined that 33-year-old Jerry Bond, Jr., had fired off a gun, hitting the wall of the residence, while others were present. No one was injured.
Bond was taken into custody on a charge of intimidation with a dangerous weapon. He was released after posting bond.
