Four Waterloo teenagers were apprehended after briefly eluding police early Wednesday morning.

As reported by The Courier, police attempted to pull over a white Chevrolet Tahoe for speeding on the 1100 block of Franklin Street just before 1 a.m. Wednesday. According to police, the driver of the SUV did not stop and drove to the 200 block of Nevada Street until the vehicle became stuck on railroad tracks.

All six occupants of the vehicle then fled on foot, police said. A 16-year-old boy, two 15-year-old boys and a 13-year-old girl were charged with interference. Two others, including the driver, have not been caught.
