The crowd at an Iowa high school girls basketball game made sure the National Anthem got sung.

Friday night in Alleman, when North Polk hosted Roland-Story, the pregame National Anthem was done acoustically and it was done to perfection. After the PA system wouldn't play the recorded Star-Spangled Banner, the game's announcer, Bill Capaldo, started singing the first few lines of the song and the entire gymnasium joined in. This following video quickly went viral on social media. The school district has received multiple letters, emails and phone calls praising both schools for the actions of the players, coaches and fans.
