Yeah, it's a stereotype. Cops and donuts. Donuts and cops. They go together like peanut butter and jelly. A jelly-filled donut sounds wonderful right now. Well, maybe wait till Friday to get that donut to support a good cause.
The 10th Annual Cop On A Rooftop Is Happening May 16
The 10th annual Cop on a Rooftop event will take place Friday, May 16, from 6 a.m. until noon at Dunkin' locations across Iowa.
Law enforcement officials will be stationed collecting money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Iowa.
The event has raised more than $240,000 for Special Olympics Iowa in its first nine years.
Make A Donation To Help And Get A Special Treat
At 23 participating Dunkin’ locations, representatives from the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Iowa will be collecting money that goes directly to support programming for Special Olympics athletes in Iowa.
Anybody who donates to Cop on a Rooftop will receive a coupon for a free donut. If you donate $10 or more, you will receive a coupon for a free medium hot or iced coffee. If you donate $20 or more, you will receive a Special Olympics Iowa tote bag (subject to availability, while supplies last).
