Here Comes the Heat!

Ready for some Heat? The National Weather Service in Des Moines says that Tuesday's high temperature in Waterloo should be in the lower-90s with a heat index near triple digits.

Will it be a record high temperature on Tuesday? NOT EVEN CLOSE. On June 2, 1934 it was a sweltering 106* in Waterloo.

REMEMBER: Drink plenty of water and take breaks as needed if you are outside!

In 2019, Waterloo didn't reach 90+* until June 30th, when it hit 95*. It hasn't reached 90* or higher since September 30th, when it was 91* in Waterloo.
