When it comes to the case of a stolen chicken for Brittany Bowser, it's no "yolking" matter.

The public's help is needed to help identify "the fox in the chicken coop". In this case, the "fox" is the driver of a small white truck and the "chicken coop" is the side of the road. This mysterious chicken snatching comes on the heels of a pumpkin getting purloined from Bowser's front yard about a week ago. Bowser was selling pumpkins during the Halloween season. Luckily, the pumpkin poacher was caught on video and a Waterloo man was charged with misdemeanor theft.

In the meantime, Bowser's luck just kept getting worse. On Monday morning, one of her Red Rock hens was plucked from alongside the road on Independence Avenue. The chicken was just minding its own business, pecking at gravel, when a man in his 40's got out of the truck and grabbed the bird. All Bowser could do was watch as the truck drove off. When you watch the video, you'll see the truck driving past, but the actual theft happened just off camera. If you have any information leading to the arrest of the "Red Rock Robber" please contact the Waterloo Police Department.
