UNI And DMACC Partner To Offer Affordable Pathway To Degree
We are patiently awaiting further details on a new partnership between The University Of Northern Iowa and Des Moines Area Community College. This new educational partnership would help students who are currently seeking a bachelor's degree have a new affordable path after they complete their course of study at DMACC. Leaders from both schools along with Governor Kim Reynolds are prepared to speak at an event at the DMACC urban campus later today.
There has already been a similar program put into place between the schools at the Carroll Campus, but this new proposal would affect a much larger group of students. The meeting between educational officials is taking place as we speak.
This will ultimately serve as a marketing tool for both schools, as one would assume that the deal would cause the attendance and enrollment in both schools to rise significantly. Affordable education should be at the top list of all educational officials lists.
