
Giant Meteor in Iowa Tuesday Morning?
From the Facebook Page of the National Weather Service in Des Moines:
There may have been a meteor across eastern Iowa early Tuesday this morning. Did anyone see anything?

According to the post, this occurred around 6:20 Tuesday morning. The Lyrid Meteor shower is happening this week, and peaking Wednesday night, so this fireball could very well be a part of this annual sky event.
