The Waterloo Bucks built an early 5-1 lead at Rochester Sunday afternoon, but they couldn't keep the momentum going.

The Honkers rallied to post an 8-5 victory over the Bucks at Mayo Field.

Rochester (4-2) scored five six-inning runs, four of which were unearned following a two-out error. The Honkers strung together three-straight hits after the Waterloo miscue.

Dylan Phillips led the way at the plate with a two-run homer in the second inning. He drove in three of Waterloo's five runs on the day.

Justin Beyer cruised through 4.0 innings of one-run baseball in his Bucks debut. The righty scattered four hits and two walks while striking out two.

The Bucks (4-2) return to Riverfront Stadium in Waterloo on Monday to begin a four-game homestand. They open a two-game series against the Mankato MoonDogs at 6:35 PM.
