2021 Class 2A Iowa High School Girls State Volleyball Tournament

Here are the 2021 Iowa High School Girls State Volleyball Tournament Class 2A pairings and results.

Class 2A quarterfinal matches will be played on Tuesday, Nov. 2. The winners advance to the state semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 3. The 2A championship game is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 4 at 4:45 PM.

The eight-team field includes defending 2A champion Dike-New Hartford, and five other 2019 qualifiers: Boyden-Hull, Denver, South Hardin, Western Christian of Hull and Wilton. Also in the field is defending Class 3A champion Osage and Beckman Catholic of Dyersville.

Denver and South Hardin are both making their second state tournament appearances, although Eldora-New Providence made four trips to state in the 1990s before merging with Hubbard-Radcliffe to form South Hardin. Denver has all six starters back from a team that played for the state title a year ago.

Defending champion Dike-New Hartford also has its entire 2020 line-up back enters the tournament with a 51-1 record, having dropped just six sets this season. The Wolverines are hoping to leave Cedar Rapids with their 15th team title.
