2021 Class 1A Iowa High School Girls State Basketball Tournament

Here are the 2021 Iowa High School Girls State Basketball Tournament Class 1A pairings and results.

Class 1A quarterfinal games will be played on Wednesday, March 3. The winners advance to the state semifinals on Friday, March 5. The 1A championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 6 at 6:30 PM.

The eight-team field includes returning qualifiers Bishop Garrigan of Algona, Montezuma and two-time defending champion Newell-Fonda. Other teams in the 2021 2A field are: Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton, Kingsley-Pierson, MMCRU, Saint Ansgar and Springville. Bishop Garrigan is the top-seed in the this year's tournament. The Golden Bears came close to winning the title last season. Newell-Fonda beat them in the 2020 championship game, 65-63.
