Cincinnati Has a ‘Charlie Brown Christmas Tree’
A 65-foot Norway Spruce arrived in downtown Cincinnati and it looks like it was hand-picked by Charlie Brown.
It features patches of holes where branches are missing and it didn’t take long for photos of the tree to hit social media.
Staff members at Fountain Square (where the tree is located) wrote on Facebook: "2020 has been a rough year for all of us, including our tree. Our team is hard at work making this 65’ Norway Spruce beautiful for the holiday season."
The tree will be decorated with stands of lights and capped with a five-foot-tall red Macy’s star.
To paraphrase Linus: "Maybe it's not such a bad little tree. It's not bad at all, really. Maybe it just needs a little love."
