Cedar Falls Woman Shows Up At Jail With Drugs

A Cedar Falls woman has been arrested on drug charges in Fayette County.

According to sheriff's officials, Ashley Kirby had controlled substances and drug paraphernalia in her possession Tuesday when she was brought to the Fayette County Jail on other criminal charges. Kirby, 30, was then charged with possession of a controlled substance – marijuana and methamphetamine -- and possession of drug paraphernalia.

As of Monday evening, Kirby remained in jail awaiting an initial court appearance on the new charges.
