Cedar Falls Police Investigate Casey’s General Store Robbery

The Cedar Falls Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Casey's General Store on University Avenue.

On Friday, February 2, 2018 at 12:01 AM, CFPD was called to the Casey's General Store located at 5226 University Avenue for a reported robbery.

Eye witness informed police officers that a darker skinned male entered the premises wearing all black and a face mask. The suspect had a small, black handgun and demanded money from employees.

Before leaving the store, the suspect ordered employees into the store restroom. The suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as a darker skinned male, around 6’02”, and a bigger build. The investigation into the incident is on-going.
