Two northeast Iowa men accused of burglarizing a rural Bremer County home, after authorities were alerted of a suspicious vehicle at the residence.

Troy Shnurstein, 54, of Janesville, and Joshua Lutchenburg, 39, of Cedar Falls, were taken into custody by sheriff's deputies following an investigation of the incident. Schnurstein is charged with third-degree burglary, fifth-degree criminal mischief and trespassing. Lutchenburg was arrested for third-degree burglary.

Sheriff's officials were called out to investigate a report of the suspicious vehicle at a home in the 2400 block of 120th Street, just west of Frederika, around midnight on Feb. 12.

The suspects were taken to the Bremer County Jail. Both men later bonded out.
