The body of a missing Waterloo woman has been found in the Cedar River.

According to Waterloo police, relatives of Juana Rubio found some of her personal items along the riverbank near the San Souci Bridge Monday around 11 AM. Waterloo Fire Rescue searched the water and recovered a woman's body, which was then identified as Rubio's.

Rubio was last seen Saturday around 11 PM outside of her home at 1120 Riehl Street, which is about three blocks from where her personal items were found.

Police said the cause of Rubio's death is pending an autopsy. They do not suspect foul play.

Operation Quickfind For Missing Robins Teenager Canceled

Meanwhile, authorities in Linn County have ended their search for a missing teenager.

According to sheriff's officials, 14-year-old Shaidyn Rocarek of Robins has been located. Authorities said Monday she is safe and is at home with her family.

Rocarek was reported missing Sunday around 8:30 PM. Linn County sheriff's officials issued an Operation Quickfind for her shortly after they received the report that she was missing.
