Authorities in Delaware County are trying to determine how a fisherman died.

According to sheriff's officials, the body of an 82-year-old man was found lying face-down in a creek at Bailey's Ford Park near Manchester on Monday. Authorities said the man had been fishing at the park. His fishing poll and hat were found near the body around 1 PM.

The victim was not immediately identified by sheriff's officials. His body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the man's death. Sheriff's officials said they believe he either suffered a medical issue or fell in the water, which is only about two-feet deep in that area.
