Attempted Abduction Reported In Butler County

An attempted abduction is under investigation in northeast Iowa.

According to Butler County Sheriff's officials, the incident happened near the Bridgeway Convenience Store in Greene Thursday evening (July 27, 2017).

Witnesses report the assailant is an older man with a beard, possibly cross-eyed, with a raspy voice. He was driving a light-colored mini-van.

No one was injured.
