Father, Daughter Charged In Fayette County Disturbance

Authorities investigating a disturbance in Fayette County arrested a father and his daughter on multiple charges Thursday.

Sheriff's officials took Ether Guyer, Jr., 53, and and Whitney Guyer, 30, into custody shortly after 7:30 PM after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at a house in the 200 block of Main Street in Elgin.

Deputies were sent to the home to conduct an investigation. After conducting numerous interviews, authorities took the father and daughter into custody.

Ethan and Whitney Guyer were booked into the the Fayette County Jail. There were each charged with second-degree harassment, disorderly conduct, simple assault and trespassing.
