27 Years Ago Tonight: ‘Matt Foley’ Made his Debut on SNL

On May 8, 1993, the great Chris Farley debuted a character on Saturday Night Live named 'Matt Foley' who was a motivational speaker who lived in a van down by the river.

This was the character's first of eight appearances on SNL.
