Woman Stabbed, Robbed At Cedar Falls Hotel

Authorities are investigating a robbery and stabbing at a Cedar Falls hotel.

According to police, a woman suffered minor injuries in a parking lot at Clarion Inn, 5826 University Ave. Officers responded to the report of a stabbing at the hotel just before 10:30 AM on Saturday (Dec. 15, 2018).

Officials said the victim told police she was in the back parking lot of the hotel when a man approached her and demanded money. The woman reported that the man was armed with a knife.

The suspect fled the area with the woman's money, police said.
