Winter Storm Izzy - Snowfall Totals in Iowa

Winter Storm Izzy lived up to expectations and dumped a lot of snow across the state on Friday, January 14th.

As the wind picked up Friday night, this cause significant blowing and drifting of snow, causing treacherous road conditions. weareiowa.com reported that the Iowa State Patrol responded to 78 total crashes between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
