According to the National Weather Service in Des Moines and Iowa News Now, it's going to be downright COLD when we wake up Saturday morning. Low-to-mid-30s are possible across most of Iowa with a chance of WIDESPREAD FROST.

On average, Waterloo's final hard freeze occurs around the first of May and the normal high temp for early May is right around 70. Brrrr.
