Police in Newberry, Pennsylvania shared a video that looks like it could've been used in an opening scene of Reno 911! back in the day.

Two officers had pulled over a suspected drunk or drugged driver in their town of 15,000, but when they walked up to the vehicle, spotted something out of the ordinary.

It would seem that the drunk driver had, at some point, either struck or found a deer that had been struck by a car. Not wanting to let the meat go to waste, they tossed the deer in the back of the hatchback Ford they were driving, not knowing that it was very much still alive.

The occupants told officers they had realized after driving some distance that the deer was still alive, but they carried on driving anyway, according to Newberry Township PD.

The deer struggled as the passenger carried it across the road, but he let it go and it apparently left.

The 19-year-old driver is under investigation for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said.
