Waterloo Shoplifter Caught in Oelwein

Oelwein Police have arrested a Waterloo teen on a theft charge.

Just before 11:30am Thursday, authorities were called to a business in the 100 block of South Frederick in Oelwein, on the report of a suspected shoplifter.

Officers then located 18 year old Michale Tyree Jefferson, who was then charged with theft fifth degree.

The charge is a simple misdemeanor.
