Waterloo Man Busted For Oelwein Burglaries
A Waterloo man has been arrested for his involvement in several recent business burglaries in Oelwein.
Brian Latham, 49, was taken into custody shortly after 1:30 AM on Friday (June 8, 2018). Oelwein police arrested Latham in the 2100 block of South Frederick. He also had an active Black Hawk County warrant for voluntary absence from custody.
Latham was allegedly involved in a series of break-in's that were reported to Oelwein police over the past week. They occurred in the 900 block of South Frederick, the 1900 block of South Frederick, the 2300 block of South Frederick, the 600 block of Rock Island Road, the 100 block of 13th Avenue NW, and the 400 block of 4th Street NE.
Police said the investigation continues and more charges are pending.
