Waterloo Man Arrested On Drug, Weapons Violations

Authorities took a Waterloo man into custody on drug and weapons violations following a search of his apartment Tuesday afternoon.

Police charged Oshea Wright, 22, with possession of marijuana with intent with a firearm and carrying weapons.

According to police, Wright was arrested after officers executed a warrant for a narcotics search at 303 Logan Ave., Number 4, just before 3 PM. Officials said, during the search, they located a quantity of marijuana, items associated with the sale and use of marijuana, and a loaded Ruger LCP 9mm handgun.

Wright was booked into the Black Hawk County Jail.​
